Ducks Unlimited will blaze a new technological trail May 23 and 24 when it features live video streaming from its national convention floor. The entire business sessions on those days will be broadcast live and the public can view them on the DU website, www.ducks.org.
Video streaming of the DU 2008 Convention, with its significant meetings and related events, will include updates on the Wetlands for Tomorrow campaign and reports on Ducks Unlimited’s successes across North America during the past year. Those who tune in will also hear from DU’s top leaders including President Bruce Lewis and Executive Vice President Don Young. A highlight of the convention will be a presentation by Sec. of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne on Friday morning.
Video streaming of the General Business Sessions will provide an excellent opportunity to see what the volunteer leaders and staff of our organization have been working on in 2008 and what’s planned for 2009.
During the breaks in the morning sessions, Mike Checkett, DU’s communications 
biologist, blogger and DUTV host, will interview volunteers, attendees and DU officials to discuss the latest events impacting waterfowl and get their perspectives on what it’s like to attend DU’s largest event. You never know who might show up to talk ducks!
