Mark White Wetland Development

Ducks Unlimited is a partner in a project to develop shallow wetlands. The USFWS initiated this NAWCA-funded project, Threatened Habitats, in 21 central South Dakota counties. DU helped fund the development of two Hand County shallow wetlands totaling eight acres on a 160-acre tract of Missouri Coteau grassland, owned by Mark White, that is one-half mile from a large, semi-permanent wetland
