Governor Rendell Announces Members of Hunting, Fishing, Conservation Council Nov. '04
Gov. Rendell has appointed Edward Mascharka III, Erie, Pa. (Erie 002 Northwestern Chapter of Ducks Unlimited) to serve on his Advisory Council for Hunting, Fishing and Conservation. The council is charged with providing advice to the Governor on the conservation of Pennsylvania’s natural resources and on ways to protect, promote and enhance the Commonwealth’s outdoor heritage.

First Annual Greenwing Shoot
The first annual Ducks Unlimited Greenwing shoot was held on September 13, 2004 at the Edinboro Sportsmen Club in Edinboro, PA. A beautiful fall day was the back drop for the 17 Greenwing shooters who participated and shot trap, skeet and sporting clays. PA Ducks Unlimited Shooting co-Chair (Bob Grinarml) stated that he was pleased with the turnout and how well everyone shot. The French Creek Valley Committee who helped plan the event showed out in full force to watch the day's events unfold and are already planning next years shoot. A tie in the Trap division had to be resolved in a shoot off between Amanda Kean and Andy Tobin.
