Ducks Unlimited and the Wisconsin DNR cooperated to enhance 120 acres of wetland habitat on Dike 17 State Wildlife Area. The project involved installing new water control structures on the Little Thunder, Staffon, and Squaw Mound Flowages. Dike 17 SWA encompasses 3,700 acres including marsh, wet prairie, and associated upland habitats.
