Dietz Breunig Property

Ducks Unlimited (DU) recently acquired some key properties in Nebraska’s Rainwater Basin. DU will restore the parcels’ wetlands and uplands to enhance Nebraska’s important spring migration habitat.

The Dietz/Breunig property is a 160-acre parcel in the middle of DU’s “Verona Complex.” The Verona Complex, located four miles northeast of Clay Center, is now greater than 1,000 acres in size. Wetland habitats on this complex provide valuable migration habitat for waterfowl. The complex is open to public hunting during the fall hunting seasons.
